Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid seats for Buildchain Digital programmes invoiced by us. It does not create a checkout on this website; refunds relate to invoices already paid.

Eligibility

Full refunds are available if you cancel in writing at least fourteen (14) days before the cohort start date and have not accessed lab materials beyond an introductory orientation module.

Timeframe for requests

Refund requests must be sent within thirty (30) days of the invoice payment date or before the cohort midpoint, whichever is earlier, unless otherwise required by Hong Kong consumer law.

Full versus partial refunds

Cancellations fourteen or more days before start: full refund of tuition paid, minus any non-refundable facilitation deposit stated on the invoice (if any).

Cancellations fewer than fourteen days before start but before the second live session: fifty percent (50%) refund of tuition.

After the second live session, or after more than twenty-five percent of self-paced content is completed: no tuition refund, except where we cancel the programme.

Non-refundable items

Third-party exam fees, custom Desk Companion discovery fees already delivered, and printed materials shipped at your request are non-refundable once incurred.

Refund process

Email contact@buildchain.digital with your full name, invoice number, programme name, and reason for the request. We confirm eligibility within five business days.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are processed within fourteen (14) business days to the original payment method (bank transfer or card, as used). Currency conversion differences charged by your bank are outside our control.

Cancellation by Buildchain Digital

If we cancel a cohort, you may transfer to a later date or receive a full refund of tuition paid for that seat.

Exceptions

We may grant goodwill exceptions for documented medical or bereavement circumstances at our discretion. Corporate bulk contracts may specify different terms that prevail over this page where expressly agreed in writing.
